The Admire Pallasite Meteorite Nuggets are not
an official name - it is the name we gave them after we run them
through several scientific processes in an effort to arrest the rusting
issues that the Admire is known to have. It has been several
months
since we first began working with the Admire Pallasite Meteorite and as
you can see when looking at the pictures they are stunning. We have had
no problems with the slices or the Nuggets that we have offered
here.
Please note - we are the origional creator of the process that
turns these pallasites into sculptured, amazing nuggets and we
cannot guarantee any other processed specimens that you may find on
other sites.
As you know, all iron or stony-Iron meteorites do rust and will deteriorate over time,
especially if they are not properly taken care of; and anyone who has
worked with many other pallasite meteorites in particular can attest to
the known fact that not only is each and every meteorite strewnfield
different, but you can have both completely stable and completely
unstable meteorites in that same strewnfield! Just ask any of us that
have processed multiple specimens!
