This slice has awesome translucency and several crystals which show chatoyance! This slice is also
a fine example of how the olivine silicates were fractured
then rehealed within the metal parent body, possibly due to a
cosmic impact. Under close examination one can see how the
splinterd crystals fit back together like a puzzle. One side
reveals small, splintered crystals while the opposite side shows large
crystals up to 2cm in diameter.
